Women's Basketball

Women's basketball player Kristin Turner was named December's UIndy Female Student-Athletete of the Month after leading the Greyhounds to a perfect 5-0 record. She averaged 16.8 points and 3.0 steals per game while sinking 52 percent (14-for-27) of her 3-point attempts for the month.

Josh Kieffer

Wrestling

The male Student-Athlete of the Month for December 2011, freshman wrestler Josh Kieffer took third place in the 125 weight class at the 33rd annual Midwest Classic Dec. 18-19. Kieffer defeated the then-No. 1 ranked 125 grappler at the MWC, and posted an overall record of 5-2 for the month.
