INDIANAPOLIS- University of Indianapolis senior Seth Fair carded three straight sub-par rounds to finish second at the 54-hole Butler Fall Invitational, held at Eagle Creek Golf Club Monday and Tuesday.  Fair paced a UIndy team that finished fourth among a mostly-Division I 13-team field.

NOBLESVILLE, Ind.- In less than ideal conditions, the University of Indianapolis men’s golf team (320-304) placed third among a talented 18-team field at the 2009 Ken Partridge UIndy Invitational/NCAA Division II Preview.  The teams battled strong wind gusts yesterday and chilly temperatures Monday and Tuesday at The Sagamore Club in Noblesville, Ind., site of the 2010 NCAA D-II Championship.

NOBLESVILLE, Ind.- The University of Indianapolis men’s golf team will play host to the NCAA Division II Championship Preview next week.  Seventeen of the nation's strongest D-II teams will converge on The Sagamore Club in Noblesville, Ind. BOWLING GREEN, Ohio- Competing versus a Division I heavy field, the University of Indianapolis men’s golf team (+15) finished third at the 12-team John Piper Intercollegiate Tuesday, led by Blair Webb’s one-under 215.  The 54-hole event featured 10 D-I squads, with Wisconsin-Green Bay taking the team title by downing host Bowling Green State in a playoff.

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C.- University of Indianapolis senior Seth Fair (pictured) won the first hole of a sudden-death playoff to top the field at the sixth-annual Kiawah Island Invitational Tuesday.  In the team’s first action of the year, Fair paced a UIndy squad that shot +13 for the tournament, good for fifth among the competing 15 teams.

INDIANAPOLIS- Incoming UIndy sophomore Aaron Monson ripped off a near-course-record 63 at Brickyard Crossing Golf Course Friday to take the 2009 PGA Indiana Open.  Down seven shots after three rounds, Monson’s final-day performance put him at 15-under for the tournament, making him just the second amateur since 1970 to win the Open title.

NORMAN, Okla. – University of Indianapolis golfers Seth Fair, Justin Hueber and Kyle Pearson were among the 37 men named Division II Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars, announced Thursday by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).  UIndy was one of only three schools to place a D-II-leading three student-athletes on the list, joining St. Edward’s University and fellow-GLVC-school Lewis University with the most.
