INDIANAPOLIS - In a release by the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association, the University of Indianapolis wrestling team ranked seventh in the nation in team grade point average and had three members selected to individual All-Academic teams.

WARRENSBURG, Mo. - A trio of Greyhound wrestlers earned trips to the NCAA Division II Championships on Sunday with their performances at the Super Regional meet hosted by the University of Central Missouri.  Alex Johns led UIndy with a runner-up finish at 125, while Lynn Panko took third at 285, and Bryce Givens finished fourth at 157.

WHEATON, Ill. - The Greyhound wrestling team used five placements on their way to a sixth place finish at the Pete Willson Wheaton Invitational on Saturday at Wheaton College.  UIndy stood ninth after Friday's bouts, but an individual title at 125 from Alex Johns propelled the Hounds up the team standings.  UW-Parkside claimed the team title.

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. - Part of the UIndy wrestling squad traveled to the Monon Bell Duals hosted by Wabash College in action on Saturday, while the rest of the squad headed to Ypsilanti, Mich. for the Eastern Michigan Duals.  The Greyhounds finished the Monon Bell Duals with a 1-3 record with a win over Wilmington (Ohio), while falling to Manchester, Calumet, and host Wabash.
