The UIndy cheerleading team is hosting the first annual Cheerleading Golf Outing, scheduled for Aug. 24 at Valle Vista Golf Course in Greenwood, Ind.  The outing will feature prizes for the top foursome, a putting contest, a closest to the pin and the longest putt contest.  Contact Diane Drumm at 317-788-3246 for more details.

Registration deadline for the outing is on Aug. 3.  The cost is $75 per person/$250 per foursome.  The registration form can be found here.

Proceeds for this event will help cover the expenses for College Spirit Camp held every summer at the University of Tennessee.  Last summer, the UIndy team placed fifth in the DII and Small School sidelines all-girl squad competition, was named "Most Improved at Camp" and won the "Leadership Award" for DII and Small School all-girl squads.  The event featured over 800 campers.
