2008 NSCAA All-Region Teams

KANSAS CITY, Kan.- Two UIndy men's soccer players were selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) 2008 All-Midwest Region teams. Senior Brian Fishback took a spot on the region's second team, while freshman Andrew Jones found himself on the All-Midwest third team.

Fishback, a second-team midfield choice, closed out his UIndy career starting 16 of the team's 17 games on the season. He scored two goals in that time, including the Hounds' lone score in its 2-1 GLVC Tournament loss to Drury to end the season. He had four assists for a season total of eight points. The senior captain also earned second team All-GLVC honors, as well as a spot on the Daktronics All-Region second team. The Greyhound midfielder was also a CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine second team All-Academic District V selection.

In his first year as a Greyhound, Jones racked up seven goals, leading the team. The freshman, a third-team forward selection, also had three assists and started all 17 UIndy contests in 2008. He also earned a spot on the third team All-GLVC in 2008.
