On tap:  UIndy will make a quick road trip to Wisconsin-Parkside Thursday before returning home to host rival Saint Joseph's in the “Snowcoming” game.  The Hounds are looking to snap a five-game slide.  Eight games remain on the UIndy schedule, all against GLVC East squads.

About UWP:  The Rangers are 6-12 on the season and have a 2-8 GLVC record.  The Hounds will look to exploit UWP's defense, which gives up a league-high 81.4 points per game, easily the most in the conference.  Opponents are shooting .535 against UWP, the highest mark in the league.  The Rangers also have the lowest rebounding margin in the GLVC, as teams outboard them by 3.7 rebounds per game on average.  UIndy will be tasked with stopping one of the most prolific scorers in  all of Division II in LaVontay Fenderson.  The senior collects nearly 25 points per game (24.7) and has been the team's leading scorer in all but two games this season.  He has a 44-point and a 38-point game to his credit and has broken the 30-point barrier four times already in 2008-09.

About SJC:  Saint Joseph's, heading into this week, is on a three-game winning streak.  The Pumas will step outside of conference play on Thursday, hosting Urbana.  SJC will head down to the Circle City on Saturday looking to improve on its 1-4 road record this season.  The Pumas are led by Austin Peebles and Brandon Mayse.  Peebles pours in a team-high 11.9 points per game while Mayse averages 10.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per contest.

UIndy Head Coach Stan GouardStan Gouard is in his first season as the head man at Indianapolis.  Gouard was introduced as the new head of the Greyhound program on Apr. 3, 2008.  He previously spent three years as an assistant coach at Indiana State following his three-year stint as an assistant at UIndy.  While at Indianapolis, Gouard was part of the staff that helped the Hounds to a 47-31 record, advancing to the NCAA tournament all three seasons.

Boarder Patrol:  The Greyhounds will have the task of defending the top two rebounders in the Great Lakes Valley Conference this week.  UWP's DaMarcus Bell tops all league players with a 7.7 rebound-per-game average with SJC's Brandon Mayse just one total rebound behind (7.6 average).  UIndy's leading rebounder, Braxton Mills, ranks 19th in the league with his 5.2 average.

Stepping Up:  Keith Radcliff is third in the GLVC in scoring at 17.1 points per game.  That total is strengthened by the senior's improved mark within league play at 18.5 per GLVC contest.  He scored at a 15.6 ppg clip in the team's nine non-conference games, but has scored 20 or more points in four of the team's 10 GLVC games.   Overall, Radcliff has been UIndy's leading scorer 12 times this season, including the last seven in a row.

Milestone Watch:  Several Greyhounds are pursuing personal milestones in the coming weeks, here is a look at some of the marks that are within reach:
Braxton Mills-    546 career rebounds- Curr 19th, needs 30 to crack top 15
Braxton Mills-     96 career blocks- Needs 20 to become UIndy leader
Tyke Cockerham-    174 career assists- Needs 28 to crack UIndy top 20
Keith Radcliff-    87 career 3FG- Curr. 14th, needs 13 to reach 100

We're Going Streaking:  Keith Radcliff has made his last 18 free throws, dating back to the second half of the Rockhurst game (Jan. 10).  Last season at this time, DeAndre Brock connected on 37 straight freebies en route to a .852 free throw percentage for the season.  Radcliff will give that number a run for its money as he currently holds that exact percentage for the season.  .852 is a popular number in the UIndy record books because it is also the top career free throw percentage (Brad Borgman 2000-02).  Radcliff's career FT percentage is .806 heading into this week.

Surging Sergey:  Sergey Struck returned to the starting lineup last week, making starts in both games, his first starts since Dec. 14.  Struck scored 11 Thursday and added nine more on Saturday.  Struck has averaged 8.2 ppg in his five starts this season.
