UIndy dominates at KWC

OWENSBORO, Ky.- Winners of eight straight, the 12th-ranked University of Indianapolis volleyball team continued its hot streak with a 25-12, 25-10, 25-17 sweep of Kentucky Wesleyan Saturday afternoon.  The Greyhounds hit .333 for the match and have now won 24 consecutive sets.

Lyndsay Callahan led the Greyhounds to their 21st straight win versus KWC (1-17, 0-8 GLVC).  The junior co-captain compiled a .688 hitting percentage while amassing a match-high 11 kills to go with eight digs.  Callahan has hit an impressive .478 over the last five matches.

All 15 Greyhounds saw the floor in the win.  Freshman setter Lindsey Marks set or tied personal highs with 16 assists, three kills, three digs and two block assists.  Freshman Kourtney Crawford also picked up two blocks while killing three balls on six swings.  Kyleigh Turner and Amy Oldenburg combined for 19 digs.

UIndy (22-1, 7-1 ) has a mid-week clash on deck, as it will play host to Taylor Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
