PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.- Aided by a final-round 69 from Blair Webb, the 13th-ranked University of Indianapolis men's golf team snagged a third-place finish at the talent-rich NSU Shark Invitational Tuesday, held at the par-72, 6,806-yard Haig Course at PGA National.

Webb's final-round score was the second sub-70 round for the junior this year.  His three-round score of 214 put him at two-under par, good for sole possession of fourth.

Senior Seth Fair and sophomore Aaron Monson finished 54 holes in a stalemate, thanks to matching 218s.  Fair carded rounds of 73, 74 and 71 while Monson went for 72, 74 and 72.

After an under-par final round, senior Kyle Miller notched his second top-20 finish of the season.  His one-under 71 Tuesday jumped him into a tie for 19th with a 220 (73-76-71).  Senior Brad Abel finished with a 235 (81-77-77) to place 58th.

Third-ranked Barry University overcame a five shot deficit in the final round of play to defeat No. 5 Lynn University and take the team title, while Barry junior Chris Carlin topped the 75-man field by shooting -8 (75-67-66).

The Greyhounds put their season on hold this winter but will resume competition in Florida during Spring Break this March.  Details to be announced.
