KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The UIndy women's soccer squad picked up their 12th victory of the season with a 2-1 overtime win at Great Lakes Valley Conference opponent Rockhurst University on Friday evening.
The Greyhounds kept themselves atop the GLVC standings, improving to 9-2 in league play, on a goal in the 94th minute by senior forward
Ashley Seehase. Seehase put home the game-winner after collecting a rebound off a
Morgan Binder shot that was saved by Rockhurst's Alyssa Miller for her sixth goal of the season.
The Hawks (6-7-1, 5-5-1 GLVC) got on the scoreboard first in the 12th minute on a goal by Amy Lindley, her first of the season, to give Rockhurst an early 1-0 lead.

Shelby Spinelli shot that was blocked knotted the score at 1-1 in the game's 34th minute and the match would remain tied through the first half of play.
Both sides played through a scoreless second half with the host Hawks firing nine shots to the Greyhounds' seven. Indianapolis keeper
Shae Morris collected three of her four saves in the second stanza to earn the victory in goal.
The overtime period began with the game tied at 1-1 and UIndy would attempt both shots of the extra period. Both attempts came in quick succession as the second found the back of net off the foot of Seehase.
Indianapolis improves to 12-3-0 overall and 9-2-0 in GLVC play with the victory and will return to action on Sunday when they travel to Springfield, Missouri to take on Drury. The Panthers stand at 11-4-0 and 8-3 in conference action after a 1-0 defeat to Northern Kentucky earlier in the day.
