INDIANAPOLIS – Due to ongoing and anticipated construction surrounding Key Stadium, the 2009 Gerald England Track and Field Invitational has been canceled.  No makeup date for the event will be scheduled for this season.

The UIndy campus is currently in the midst of a multi-phased expansion and renovation project to Schwitzer Hall and the new dormitory, East Hall, both of which are adjacent to Key Stadium.  The University of Indianapolis will resume the Gerald England Track and Field Invitational in 2010 and will continue to host the Indy Twilight this season, set for Wed., May 6, with field events scheduled for 4:00 p.m. and running events scheduled to start a half-hour later at the Michael A. Carroll Track and Soccer Stadium on the campus of IUPUI.
