INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- The UIndy women's soccer team opened Great Lakes Valley Conference play with a 3-0 victory over visiting Missouri-St. Louis Sunday afternoon at Key Stadium.  Sophomore goalkeeper Shae Morris recorded her third shutout of the season, collecting a pair of saves between the posts, keeping the Greyhounds perfect at 4-0-0.

Senior Amanda Reese, the reigning GLVC Player of the Week, recorded her third goal of the season in the 44th minute when she collected a rebound off the foot of senior Jamie Huebner and deposited it in the back of the net to give the Hounds a 1-0 advantage.

Indianapolis limited the Tritons (0-2-0, 0-1-1 GLVC) to three shots in the first half, with only one of them being on goal.  The Greyhounds would get on the board once again in the 54th minute after senior Ashley Seehase finished a cross from freshman Shelby Spinelli.

Spinelli would later record goal of her own in the 69th minute off a corner kick by sophomore Kristen Conway.  The goal gave the freshman a team-high eight points for the 2009 campaign.

UIndy (4-0-0, 1-0-0) will make the road trip south this weekend to battle Southern Indiana Thursday before a Sunday tilt with Kentucky Wesleyan.
