INDIANAPOLIS- Former and current UIndy men's golfers had quite a busy week last week, with many competing at the PGA Indiana State Open in Franklin, Ind., and
Seth Fair contending at the Sahalee Players Championship in Dupont, Wash. Both tournaments were four-round events that concluded Friday, July 9.
Facing some of the top amateurs in the world, former Greyhound and 2010 Division II All-American
Seth Fair produced a four-round score of +3 at the prestigious Sahalee Players Championship, held at Sahalee Country Club last Tuesday through Friday. After starting slowly with a first-round 78, Fair (78-69-74-70) went 2-under over the final three rounds, including a second-round 69 Wednesday. His resulting score of 291 was good for a share of 27th among the 70-man field.

Incoming senior
Blair Webb led a host of Greyhounds at the Indiana Open, held at The Legends of Indiana last week. Webb (71-71-65-71) ran off four straight sub-par rounds on the way to an eighth-place finish – fourth among amateurs. The all-region performer fired a 65 in Thursday's third round, one of only two 65s carded during the entire event. Webb owned the longer holes, going -10 for the tournament on the par 5s, including a pair of eagles on the 513-yard 14th hole.
Other Greyhounds making the cut included last year's Open champion
Aaron Monson and
Ryan Myers, who shot a 291 and a 296, respectively, and signees
Jacob Yocum (+6) and
Tyler Keith (+10). Blair Shadday ('02) tied for 30th while Justin Hueber ('09) shared 42nd.
