PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.- Both UIndy golf teams faced a national-championship-caliber field at the Nova Southeastern Shark Invitational Monday and Tuesday, held at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. The simultaneously-played men's and women's tournaments – held on the Champion and Palmer Courses, respectively – featured some of the toughest competition D-II has to offer.

WOMEN'S RECAP
The UIndy women faced their toughest field to date as well. Among the 13 teams were eight D-II schools ranked in the 30 by Golfstat.com, including four of the top six. The Greyhounds finished with a two-round score of 637 to place eighth.
Once again, the Hounds were led by senior

Sophomore
Brianna Scheidler (82-75) carded the team's lowest score with a second-round 75. Her 36-hole score of 157 placed her in a tie for 25th.
Amy Thompson (83-77) finished three stroke back of Scheidler to share 34th,
Jenny Konop (84-84) tied for 48th and
Jaclyn Schindler (85-90) placed 58th.
Individual competitors and true-freshmen
Chanice Young (84-87) and
Regan Pittard (94-93) finished 54th and 65th, respectively.
Defending-national-champion Nova Southeastern (594) easily took the team title, with Florida Southern (608) and Rollins (610) rounding out the top three. Not coincidentally, those same three squads comprised the top three at last year's NCAA D-II Finals.
The Greyhounds wrap up their fall schedule at the Laker Fall Classic in Allendale, Mich., Oct. 22-23.
