KILLEN, Ala.- The UIndy men's golf team (294-297-297--888) placed sixth at the 14-team TVA Credit Union Invitational, held at Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club in Killen, Ala., Monday and Tuesday.  A pair of Greyhounds notched top-20 finishes, as sophomore David Frank (+3) tied for 12th and senior Aaron Monson (+6) shared 20th.

Frank's 54-hole score of 219 secured the Floyd Knobs, Ind., native his third straight top-20 showing while also setting a new personal best.  Meanwhile, Monson rebounded from a 77 in the opening round to shoot +1 over the final 36 holes.  Both golfers carded an even-par 72 at the event.

Senior Rob Gleixner and sophomore Jacob Yocum each finished eight-over par to share 32nd place in the 75-man field.  Yocum fired a one-under 71 in round one, good for the fifth sub-par round for a Greyhounds this fall.

Sophomore Max Bowling (77-76-76) landed in 50th place, while junior Tobin Dunigan (75-76-74) grabbed 36th as an individual competitor.

Eighth-ranked and host North Alabama (279-28--284) took the team title by 30 strokes.  They landed three players in the top five, including medalist Jake Greer (67-67-69--203).

The Hounds head to the west coast to conclude the fall portion of their schedule.  The Otter Invitational in Seaside, Calif., awaits the team Oct. 24-25.
