INDIANAPOLIS- The Greyhound women's soccer team took a 2-1 win in its final regular season game of 2011. UIndy heads to GLVC Women's Soccer Championship play Sunday.

A goal off of a corner kick put the Pumas (2-16-0; 1-14-0 GLVC) up 1-0 in the third minute, but UIndy (11-7-0; 9-6-0 GLVC) answered back about 20 minutes later with Nicole Duncan's 10th goal of the season. Duncan took a pass from Lauren Soza, brought it into the box and sent the ball into the upper half of the center of the net to tie the match at 1-1.

Shelby Spinelli put home the gamewinner in the 61st minute, taking a ball from Duncan on a breakaway up the near side. She finished the ball past the left side of the Puma keeper to put the Greyhounds up 2-1.

A great leaping save by the Saint Joseph's keeper with about 10 minutes to play on a rocket from Duncan kept the score 2-1 UIndy.

UIndy out-shot the Pumas 23-2 in the match, and took 10 corner kick chances to Saint Joseph's one. Shae Morris and Michelle Kistler both saw time in the UIndy net on the night.

The Greyhounds will be the No. 7 seed in the GLVC Women's Soccer Championships. UIndy heads to the tournament's No. 2 seed, Bellarmine, for the first round of tournament play Sunday.
