GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The University of Indianapolis men's and women's swimming and diving teams both came in second at the three-day Calvin Winter Invitational. The NCAA Division II No. 7 men scored 701.5 points to finish behind No. 5 Grand Valley State, while the No. 12 women scored 661 points to finish behind No. 4 and conference-rival Grand Valley State.
The Greyhounds compiled a combined 40 NCAA "B" cut qualifying times and won nine events.
"It was a bit disappointing to not have any A cuts, but we had so many close to the A cut, it will be pretty assured, that most of them will get picked up; however, there is still that little shade of doubt until the selection process is complete," head coach
