INDIANAPOLIS- UIndy women's tennis continued its strong support of the community Saturday, volunteering at the Lord's Pantry at Anna's House.
The eight Greyhound women's tennis players sorted food donations at the pantry, and helped distribute them to the neighborhood residents in need for the week.
"Today I really felt like we were able to help people,"
Alex Covington said. "Everyone was so welcoming and grateful for everything. It was a great experieance and a well-run organization that I would love to help out with again."
Greyhound women's tennis opens its spring championship season in February.
