INDIANAPOLIS- UIndy women's tennis spent its Saturday morning voluteering at Indy Humane Society.
Members of the Greyhound squad played with the animals currently at the shelter, taking them on walks on trails and giving them their daily exercise. Seven of the nine UIndy women's tennis student-athletes participated in the project.
"They had a really nice facility that was very accommodating for all the animals to be comfortable," freshman
Allie Smith said. "It was fun being able to help animals in need. I hope that all of these animals get adopted because they were all so sweet."
UIndy women's tennis opens its spring championship season next February, hosting four home matches to kick off first-year Head Coach
Malik Tabet's first year.
