INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis women's tennis team will compete in its final tournament of the fall by heading to Jenison, Mich., this weekend for the 2012 USTA/ITA Division II Midwest Regional Championships hosted by Grand Valley State. Action begins at 8 a.m. on Friday and 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The Greyhounds have played in a pair of tournaments at DePauw to prepare for this weekend's event that will send the singles and doubles winner to the 2012 USTA/ITA National Small College Championships.

UIndy has seen a variety of competition by playing against Division I teams Butler and Oakland, in addition to NCAA Division III nationally-ranked DePauw and regional competition from Bellarmine and Ohio Dominican.

Senior Alex Covington, junior Taylor Eckert, freshman Allie Smith and freshman Macey Speer are all in the Flight A singles draw, while the teams of sophomore Brooke Boyts and junior Claire Liles along with Eckert and Smith are in the A doubles draw.
