Men's tennis evens GLVC record after defeat at Lewis

The University of Indianapolis men's tennis team was knocked off, 8-1, at No. 37 Lewis in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match on Sunday afternoon at the Jack Oremus Tennis Complex.

The Greyhounds (10-6, 1-1 GLVC) bright spot came in singles where sophomore Trevor Cox earned the victory over the No. 22 player in the country, Uno Lapimaa, when he retired in the first set for the Flyers (13-2, 2-0 GLVC).

UIndy returns home to host Bellarmine and No. 36 Northern Kentucky next Friday and Saturday at Center Grove High School.
