Amanda Mason enters her first season on Kiley Cirillo's staff in 2013 after an impressive playing career at former GLVC member Northern Kentucky that included a pair of All-American selections.
On the field, Mason left the Norse as the program career leader in shots on goal (139) and game-winning goals (17). She is second in total goals (49) and third in the career record books in points (135), assists (37) and shots attempted (266). While at NKU, Mason was also the 2011 Daktronics Midwest Region and GLVC Player of the Year, and also a 2011 NSCAA and Daktronics First Team All-Midwest Region selection. She was a four-time All-GLVC First Team Selection, while also being named the 2011 Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Sportswoman of the Year.
Mason has most recently served as a U-17 coach with the Beechmont Soccer Club in Cincinnati, and has also been a U-16 coach with the Southeast Cincinnati Soccer Association.
In the classroom, Mason was a Deans List, Presidents Honors List and Scholars List member. She earned her Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science from NKU in May of 2013, and will be working towards a Master's in Sports Management at UIndy.
