Cross Country wraps up season at NCAA Regionals

BIG RAPIDS, Mich.-  The Greyhound cross country teams wrapped-up their 2008 season at the NCAA Regional meet Saturday at Katke Golf Course, hosted by Ferris State University.  The UIndy women posted a 14th-place finish while the men were 18th at the event.

Amy Hamilton once again led the Greyhound squads, traversing the course in 23:17.9, good for 17th place in the meet of 132 athletes.  Lindsey Houvener was 58th while Bethany Schroeder was 80th and Kaitlin Boester took 82nd for the Greyhounds.

The men's team was led by senior Adam Settle, who finished 77th in the men's race of 130 athletes.  Settle finished in 34:18.2.  Derek Speer took 106th, Kean Coy 111th, Michael Landy 116th and Andrew Piropato 120th to round out the scoring.
