UIndy Cheerleaders return from camp with honors

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.- The University of Indianapolis Cheerleaders attended the Universal Cheerleading Association’s College Spirit Camp July 29-31 at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. The UIndy cheerleaders participated in three days of camp with over 350 cheerleaders.
The cheerleading squad attended classes to learn cheers, game planning, advanced stunting, and more. On the last day of camp, the UIndy cheerleaders competed with other all-girl squads in the northeast region in cheer and sideline competitions. The UIndy cheerleaders proudly placed second in cheer and walked away with the first place trophy in the sideline competition. The squad also competed in the traditional Cheer Olympics placing second overall in many categories including fastest crab walk, wheel barrow racing, fastest sprint, highest all-girl basket toss, and the most push-ups in one minute, 58 push-ups in 60 seconds!
