INDIANAPOLIS- The 11th-ranked University of Indianapolis volleyball team earned a season-high-tying 14th consecutive win Saturday afternoon with a straight-set win over Northern Kentucky at the Ruth Lilly Center.  The Greyhounds defeated the visiting Norse by three identical 25-18 scores, upping their record to a stellar 28-1 on the season and 9-1 in the conference.

The entire match contained only two lead changes, as the Greyhounds controlled the majority of the contest.  UIndy held the visitors to a sub-.100 hitting percentage in each of the three sets while the Hounds hovered around .300 throughout.

The opening set featured seven ties, the last of which coming at 14-14.  The Hounds scored three quick ones to seize the momentum, however, and later ended the frame on a 5-1 run.

Less a 1-1 tie in the second, UIndy led wire-to-wire in the middle set.

After NKU (17-10, 7-3 GLVC) scored the first point of the third frame, the Hounds tied it at two and led the rest of the way.  UIndy co-captain Kyleigh Turner finished off the Norse as the senior libero earned a rare kill for the set's 25th and final point.

In addition to her punctuating kill, Turner racked up a match-high 19 digs while earning the Hounds' lone service ace.  Freshman Kristina Kerrigan led all players with 13 kills and 30 attack attempts.

Sophomore Courtney Anglemyer garnered seven kills and junior Cheneta Morrison had 32 assists.  Both players recorded five block assists.

UIndy begins a three-game road trip starting with a match at Drury University on Friday, Oct. 3
