URBANA, Ohio-   Host Urbana outscored the UIndy men's basketball team 14-4 in the final three minutes to earn an 87-77 win at the Grimes Center Tuesday evening.  The Blue Knights overcame an 11-point first-half deficit to garner the victory.

After Indianapolis (2-2) scored 47 first-half points to take a seven-point lead into halftime, Urbana (4-1) turned the trick in the second half, scoring 47 while holding the Hounds to just 30 in the second period.  UIndy shot 32 percent from the floor in the final 20 minutes and the home team took advantage by hitting 51.6 percent of their shots.

The Blue Knights' bench held the advantage, outscoring the Hounds' reserves 24-7 for the contest.  Clint Nicholson led Urbana with 19 points and T.R. Ellis contributed 11 points, seven steals and six assists.

The Greyhounds held a two-point lead with just over three minutes to play on a layup by Darius Adams.  It would be the final field goal of the night for UIndy as Urbana scored 10 straight to take a stranglehold on the game.

Larry Woods led UIndy with 19 points, a dozen of those coming in the first half.  Nate Blank scored 17, Adams had 14 and DeWann Squires chipped-in 11.

The Greyhounds will take the next nine days off from competition before hosting Northern Kentucky in the Great Lakes Valley Conference opener on Dec. 3.
