Box score

INDIANAPOLIS-  The University of Indianapolis men's basketball team upped its home winning streak to seven with a 93-54 rout of visiting Robert Morris (Springfield, Ill.) Tuesday night.  UIndy scored the first 20 points of the game and didn't look back, as juniors Darius Adams and DeWann Squires combined for 43 points.

As part of a dominating opening half, the Greyhounds held Robert Morris (4-7) off the scoreboard for the first seven minutes. The Eagles, ranked ninth in the United State Collegiate Athletic Association Coaches Poll, managed just 18 points before the break while shooting a hair over 25 percent.

The Eagles' woes were compounded by a whopping 31 turnovers, as the Hounds cashed-in those miscues for 42 points.

UIndy's one-two punch of Adams and Squires shot a collective 20-for-36 from the floor, good for a percentage of .556. Adams, who scored 16 points in just 14 first-half minutes, also garnered five assists, while Squires added seven boards and two blocks.

Senior Sergey Struck just missed his second UIndy double-double, going for 15 points and nine rebounds. Freshmen Brian Johnson and Alec Dye set personal highs with eight points and five steals, respectively.

RMU senior Ephrem Davis amassed 17 points, 13 boards and five blocks.

The Greyhounds (7-3) continue their home stand this weekend with the resumption of their conference schedule. UIndy hosts 22nd-ranked and undefeated Quincy University Saturday afternoon in the back end of a men's and women's doubleheader starting at 1 pm.

Note: All 13 Greyhounds that dressed saw the floor…Three of RMU's seven losses this season have come at the hands of GLVC schools (
Illinois-Springfield, Missouri-St. Louis & UIndy).
