On tap: UIndy heads into the stretch drive still with a good chance to reach the conference tournament, despite the 3-10 GLVC record to date. The Hounds are two games back of the last spot and have a chance to unseat the teams in front of them. Five games remain on the regular season schedule, all against teams in the GLVC East division.
About LU: The Flyers have three players with double-digit scoring averages, led by Brandon Dagans, the third-leading scorer in the conference at 18.0 per game. Lewis currently owns a two-game win streak with wins vs. Bellarmine and at Kentucky Wesleyan. He previously spent three years as an assistant coach at Indiana State following his three-year stint as an assistant at UIndy. While at Indianapolis, Gouard was part of the staff that helped the Hounds to a 47-31 record, advancing to the NCAA tournament all three seasons.
