The UIndy wrestling team split for the weekend, with a portion of the team traveling to the Carson-Newman Invitational, and another group matching up with Findlay in a dual meet competition.
ED SOUTH CARSON-NEWMAN INVITATIONAL
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.- Another group of Greyhounds traveled to the Ed South Carson-Newman Invitational Saturday. As a team, UIndy finished 10th, while Campbellsville took the overall team title.
Bryce Givens led the Greyhounds at C-N, taking third place in the 165 bracket. Givens defeated Limestone's Casey Bradley 5-3 in the third place bout, his fourth win on the day.
FINDLAY DUAL MEET
FINDLAY, Ohio- Most of the Greyhounds' regular lineup competed against Findlay Saturday, dropping a 31-15 dual meet decision. With the loss, UIndy falls to 7-8 on the year.

Matt Irwin and
David Lopez earned wins on the day for the Greyhounds. Irwin (pictured), the No.6-ranked 141-pounder in Division II, highlighted the match for UIndy, pinning the Roughnecks' Alex Shumaker in 1:41.
Harris earned a 6-3 decision against Findlay's Michael Peraino at 133, while Lopez was awarded a forfeit at 149.
The Greyhounds have the next two weeks off to gear up for the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional, Mar. 1 at Truman State.
