Fornal posts win in UIndy loss

McKendree bests Hounds 34-15 in RLFC

INDIANAPOLIS- The UIndy wrestling team fell in its first home dual meet of the season 34-15 at the hands of McKendree. With the loss, the Greyhounds fall to 5-6 on the year in dual meet action.

Cory Fornal(pictured) picked up the lone win on the night that was not via forfeit for UIndy, defeating the Bearcats' Matt Beasley 4-0 in the 157 bout. Ethan Harris(133) and Matt Irwin(141) picked up the only other points on the night for the Greyhounds, taking forfeits in their bouts.

UIndy will return to the Ruth Lilly Fitness Center Saturday at 1 p.m., hosting the University of the Cumberlands in another dual meet. The lone senior on the roster, Jimmy Nichols will be honored during the match.
