LOUISVILLE, Ky.- The women's tennis team split a pair of Great Lakes Valley Conference matches to end its regular season this weekend. The Hounds ran past Kentucky Wesleyan 7-2 before Sunday's 5-2 loss to host Bellarmine. UIndy will enter the league championships as the fifth seed in the eight-team tournament.
UIndy 7, KWC 2
The Hounds breezed through doubles play with an 8-1 win at No. 3 and two 8-2 victories at the top two positions. The Hounds then won each of the bottom four singles spots to earn the 7-2 win.

Aly Neidlinger all earned singles wins Saturday.
Bellarmine 5, UIndy 2
Ceciley Starkey and
Kelsey Hartman were 8-3 winners at No. 3 doubles, but BU took a 2-1 lead into singles play. There, the Knights grabbed three wins to finish off the match. Teunis blanked her opponent at No. 5 singles, winning 6-0, 6-0. Neidlinger led her match at No. 6, holding a slim 2-1 lead when the match ended.
The Greyhounds and Knights will square off again this Friday in the opening round of the GLVC tournament. BU qualified as the four seed with the winner advancing to play the winner of top-seeded Drury and Southern Indiana in Friday's semifinal round.
