Greenlee named to All-GLVC Team
JD greenlee

2009 All-GLVC Men's Tennis Team

INDIANAPOLIS-  Senior JD Greenlee (Dunkirk, Ind./Delta) was named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Tennis Team announced Thursday night at the league's annual championship banquet.  Greenlee holds down the top singles spot for UIndy and also plays No. 1 doubles for the Greyhounds, who enter the GLVC Championships as the fifth seed in Friday's opening round.

The senior from Dunkirk, Ind. has a 10-15 overall singles mark this season playing at the No. 1 position in the tough GLVC.  Greenlee posted an impressive 17-7 record in doubles play.  He teamed most often with Matt Smith (Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove) at top doubles and the duo collected a 14-5 tally for the season.

Greenlee has helped the Hounds to a 13-10 overall mark and a regional ranking, currently eighth.  UIndy will play fourth-seeded Bellarmine in the conference tourney's first round Friday morning.  The Hounds are also primed to make a return trip to the NCAA tournament, which would be their seventh appearance in the past 13 years but first since 2006.
