JD Greenlee and
Megan Farley were each honored with the Arthur Ashe Jr. Award for Leadership and Sportsmanship at the regional level, awarded by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. The duo each held down the top singles positions for their respective teams this season.
Greenlee played both top singles and top doubles for UIndy in his final collegiate campaign. He led the Greyhounds back to the NCAA tournament with a 10-15 overall singles record and an impressive 18-8 mark in doubles play. UIndy advanced to the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament with a 13-10 regular season mark and propelled that into an NCAA postseason appearance, its first since 2006.
Farley rounded-out her four-year career, taking the reigns at the top singles spot this season. Playing in one of the toughest region's in the country, Farley recorded a 4-15 mark for the young Greyhounds in singles play as the lone senior. She added a 4-12 mark in doubles play, battling injuries throughout her collegiate career. The Hounds were 10-10 in regular season play and advanced to the league tournament.
