2009 Greyhound Alumni Football Challenge

The 2nd Annual Greyhound Alumni Football Challenge proved to be a huge success this year hosting over 40 former student-athletes in a single elimination tournament. The event took place April 17th-18th and began with a live draft at local establishment, McQ's Pub & Eatery. Alumni were split into four teams and had the opportunity to challenge one another the following evening “under the lights” at Key Stadium. The Crimson Team, who was led by former Greyhound quarterback, Mitch Brown, captured the title scoring a game winning touchdown with just 20 seconds left.  The final score of the championship game was 26-21 Crimson.

The Greyhound Club would like to thank everyone who participated in this event and helped in making it a success. Your support of UIndy Athletics is greatly appreciated. We look forward to seeing you back here on August 27th as the Greyhounds matchup against Kentucky Wesleyan at 7:00 p.m. in Key Stadium.
