JACKSON, Tenn.-  Roger Lee scored twice while Bobby Adkins and Diego Lemus etched goals in the Greyhound men's soccer team's 4-2 win at Lambuth Sunday afternoon.  The Hounds broke a 2-all tie in the second half to earn their first win of the season (1-0-1).

UIndy jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the opening half on goals from Lee and Adkins.  The first score came on a deflected shot off the post from Lemus that Lee buried past the Eagles' keeper for the advantage.  Later, Adkins finished a set piece at the top of the box to make it a two-goal advantage that held until halftime.

Lambuth quickly equaled the score with a pair of goals in the early-going of the second half.  It would remain tied until Lemus got the eventual game-winner, firing a shot that the keeper bobbled but found the back of the net for a 3-2 Greyhound margin.

Lee added an insurance goal late after stealing the ball and breaking away for the 4-2 win.  Justin Roberts played the entire 90 minutes in net to earn his first win of the season (1-0-1).

The Greyhounds will travel to Ohio Dominican Thursday night before opening the Great Lakes Valley Conference schedule Sunday night at home against Missouri-St. Louis at 6:00 p.m.

Notes: Lambuth was ranked #21 in the preseason National Soccer Coaches Association of America NAIA Preseason Poll ... Four of the five UIndy goals this season have been scored by freshmen (Adkins-2, Lee-2) ... the win was head coach John Griffin's 50th at the school (50-32-15).
