On Tap:  UIndy will look to snap a two-game slide when it heads to Hillsdale College Saturday night.  The Chargers are 2-1 on the season and are fresh off a heart-breaking 38-37 loss at Northwood last week.  The Greyhounds dropped a 27-23 decision to Wayne State last Saturday to wrap-up their season-opening three-game homestand.

Series History:  Hillsdale owns a slight edge in the all-time series, 14-11, but the Greyhounds are 6-3 against the Chargers in this decade.  The teams have alternated wins in the past six years.  Hillsdale took a 29-17 win last year in Indianapolis. 

UIndy Head Coach Joe Polizzi:  Head Coach Joe Polizzi, now in his 16th season, is 81-84-1 in his tenure at UIndy.  Polizzi has collected eight winning seasons in that time, including three of the last four.

HC Head Coach Keith Otterbein:  Now in his eighth season at the helm of his alma mater, Coach Otterbein has a 100-79-3 career coaching record.  Otterbein owns a 17-8 mark since 2007, leading Hillsdale back into the playoff hunt.  His 100th win came two weeks ago in a 37-35 win against Michigan Tech.

About the Chargers:  HC has scored 37 points in all three of its games this season.  While the point total was good for two wins (at St. Joseph's, vs. Michigan Tech), it fell one point shy last week at Northwood.  The Timberwolves scored with 1:07 left to grab the win.  Hillsdale relies on its GLIAC-leading pass offense, which has rolled-up 322.3 yards per game this season.

Not a Baker's Dozen: Senior PK Jace Morrison booted home three field goals in last Saturday's game vs. Wayne State.  The third extended a personal string of 12-straight FG makes, dating back to last season.  The streak was snapped in the fourth quarter, however, when his 39-yard attempt edged wide right.  For his career, Morrison has made good on 19-of-26 attempts, good for a .731 percentage, tops all-time at UIndy.  He has also missed on only two extra-point attempts in his career (74-of-76).

Like a Broken Record:  Sophomore QB Rob Doyle has now broken his career-high for passing yards in each of the last three games.  Doyle registered 260 yards passing in the season-opening win vs. Kentucky Wesleyan then topped that by two yards against #1 Grand Valley State.  Last week, Doyle became the first 300-yard passer in two seasons for UIndy by piling-up 311 passing yards against Wayne State.  Doyle is averaging 278 yards passing per game this season, with three TD and two interceptions.

Gun-Slinger Battle:  This week's game features the top two quarterbacks in the GLIAC in passing yards per game.  Hillsdale's Troy Weatherhead has completed 79-of-113 for 967 yards while UIndy signal-caller Rob Doyle is 75-of-111 for 833 yards.  Only two schools have underclassmen starting QBs (UIndy- So. Rob Doyle and Northern Michigan- So. Carter Kopach).

South 69: The Greyhounds will be traveling on South 69 when they return from Hillsdale after Saturday's game.  Last week, Ryan Forney headed south for 69 yards and a score in returning back a punt against Wayne State.  It marks the longest punt return in the GLIAC this season and the first for a score by a UIndy player since Stephen Geller returned a 77-yarder at Saint Joseph's in the 2007 season.

Love Story:  Junior RB Halston Love recorded his first 100-yard rushing game last week vs. Wayne State.  Love also added 89 yards on four catches to accumulate 192 yards of total offense. 

Ray-Ray-Ray:  Junior DB Craig Ray has been the team's top tackler in each of the team's three games this season.  His 29 total stops are tied for third-best in the conference.

Night Moves:  All six of UIndy's home games are night contests and this week's matchup at Hillsdale marks the seventh kick under the lights for the Greyhounds.  Since installing lights at Key Stadium in 2005, UIndy is 8-5 in night games at home and just 1-5 in away games kicking at 6 p.m. or later.
