The Sagamore Club in Noblesville, Ind. Sep. 28-29, with nine of the schools receiving votes in the latest
Golf World/Nike D-II Coaches’ poll.
The 13th-ranked Greyhounds will be among a host of national powers Monday and Tuesday, including defending-national-champion and fourth-ranked Sonoma State. Also set to compete is No. 7 Central Oklahoma, along with perennial powers Central Oklahoma, Central Missouri, Indiana (Pa.) and St. Thomas Aquinas.
The Sagamore Club sports a nearly 7,200-yard, Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, and was named one of the Top Ten Best New Private Courses in 2004 by Gold Digest.
UIndy and the Great Lakes Valley Conference, with assistance from Indiana Sports Corporation and the Hamilton County Convention & Visitors Bureau, will host the 2010 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championships at Sagamore May 18-21.
