Wisconsin-Parkside downs UIndy 2-1

INDIANAPOLIS- UIndy's men's soccer team dropped a physical contest to Wisconsin-Parkside, 2-1, at Key Stadium Sunday afternoon. The loss drops the Greyhounds to 4-5-0, 4-4-0 in GLVC play.

The Rangers got on the board in the first half on a penalty kick in the 45th minute. Ben Kreple was awarded the PK, and made good on it off the hands of a diving Justin Roberts.

UWP tallied its second score in the 61st minute, with Spencer Bursten finding the back of the net on a ball from Anthony Keller in the box.

The Greyhounds got their lone goal on a penalty kick by Will Tanoury in the 84th minute. Tanoury made the PK high into the left corner of the net.

Roberts made two saves in goal for UIndy, which had five shots total in the game.

The Greyhounds continue GLVC play on the road, heading to Quincy and Illinois-Springfield next Friday and Sunday.
