Another sweep for UIndy volleyball

Box score

INDIANAPOLIS-  Owners of a five-match conference win streak, the 20th-ranked UIndy volleyball team (13-6, 5-2 GLVC) earned a sweep versus visiting Kentucky Wesleyan Friday night.  The final score read 25-15, 25-13, 25-14, as the Greyhounds have now won 12 straight sets.

The match lasted just a shade over an hour, as KWC's 42 combined points marked a season low by a UIndy opponent.  UIndy managed to double-up the Panthers (5-9, 0-7) in kills, while out-hitting them .344 to .089.

The Hounds got down 6-1 in the opening frame, but after climbing back to knot it at 12-12, the home team finished the set on a 13-3 run.  After leading wire-to-wire in the second, UIndy hit nearly .400 in the third set to earn the sweep.

All 14 Greyhounds saw action, including Courtney Anglemyer (pictured), who hit a gaudy .615 with nine kills and two block assists.  Jaymee Reynolds recorded 36 assists and Lyndsay Callahan had 13 digs.
