Box Score

INDIANAPOLIS- The Greyhounds made quick work of GLVC-foe Saint Joseph's Thursday, besting the visiting Pumas in straight sets, 25-17, 25-20, 25-13. The win improves UIndy to 22-7 overall, 10-3 in GLVC matches.

The Pumas took a 5-3 early lead in set one, but five straight points on the serve of Lyndsay Callahan put the Greyhounds ahead and they never looked back, taking the opening set 25-17.

SJC tried to take an early lead again in the second set, but again a string of six points on Callahan's service pushed UIndy into the lead. The Greyhounds took the 2-0 match lead on the 25-20 second set victory.

UIndy took complete control in set three, never trailing. Five kills from Kourtney Crawford dotted the set, leading the Greyhounds to the 25-13 win.

Kristina Hefferan led the Greyhound offense with 16 kills on the night. Cheneta Morrison dished out 36 assists, while Callahan and Kristina Kerrigan each had 10 digs on the night.

Just one more regular season game remains for the Greyhounds, as they travel to Maryville Friday evening for an 8 p.m. contest with the Saints.
