INDIANAPOLIS- Head Coach John Venter and the UIndy women's tennis team are proud to announce the signing of two very talented student-athletes to the 2011-12 squad.

"I'm looking forward to these girls making an immediate impact to our team," Venter said.

Brooke Boyts of Goshen, Ind. was a state doubles finalist last season and maintains a 3.98 GPA. Kelsey Matthews is a state qualifier from Cincinnati, Ohio, who is also a starter for her basketball team.

Boyts and Matthews will join returning eleven members of the tennis squad next year, and help carry on their winning tradition.

The UIndy squad opens the 2011 portion of its schedule with a Feb. 5 match against Grand Valley State at the UIndy Tennis Center.
