Day One Team Standings
OMAHA- The three University of Indianapolis grapplers competing at the 2010 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships all bowed out of the tournament on day one of the event.
The UIndy 125 representative, Alex Johns, earned the lone Greyhound victory on the day, taking a 4-3 decision against Newberry's Matt Oliver in his opening bout of the tournament. Johns (33-10) fell 11-4 to Arsenia Barksdale of Adams State to fall into the wrestleback portion of the bracket, where he ended his tournament with a 7-2 loss to Andy Forstner of Minnesota State-Mankato.
Bryce Givens took a pair of losses at 157 for UIndy, finishing out his 2009-10 campaign with a 27-13 record. Lynn Panko, the Greyhound heavyweight, also took two losses in his first two matches to bow out of the tournament. Panko finished the season at 24-6.
Host school Nebraska-Omaha leads the teams standings after day one, with 57.0 points. St. Cloud State (32.5) and Augustana-S.D. (29.5) round out the top three.
