The UIndy women's tennis team upped its record to 9-3 overall with a gutsy 5-4 win at Lewis Saturday. The victory came after suffering a 6-3 setback at Saint Joseph's Friday.

The Greyhounds posted victories at each of the top two doubles positions, but the Pumas took five of the singles spots to grab a 6-3 win. Among the singles wins were a pair of three-set wins that ultimately decided the contest.
Meghan Teunis was up a set at No. 2, but her opponent rallied for two 6-2 sets to win the match.
Kelsey Hartman came back from down a set, but could not complete the comeback, falling 7-6 in the third and deciding set.
Rachel Barger was the Greyhounds' lone winner in singles play, winning 6-4, 6-3 at No. 6.
UIndy 5, Lewis 4
The Hounds were up 2-1 after doubles play and got some big wins in singles play to outlast the host Flyers. Four of the six singles matches went to a third set with the teams splitting those decisions. Hartman had to win two straight sets to win at No. 4 (2-6, 6-1, 6-2) while
Maggie Ashby had to fend-off her foe at No. 5 (6-4, 4-6, 6-3) to help Indianapolis to a big team win. Barger completed a successful weekend with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 6.
UIndy (9-3) will head to Southern Indiana next Saturday.
