INDIANAPOLIS- The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) has announced the 2009-10 recipients of the Team Academic Award, with seven UIndy teams making the list.  The Greyhound women's cross country team, women's golf, men's soccer, women's soccer, men's tennis, women's tennis and volleyball all maintained at least a 3.30 grade point average for the previous academic year.

The GLVC recognized 66 teams from its 15 member institutions in the inaugural year of the award.  UIndy's total of seven teams ranked fourth in the league, bested only by Drury (10 teams), Maryville (10) and Rockhurst (8).
