INDIANAPOLIS- The UIndy men's soccer team kept it's Great Lakes Valley Conference record perfect Friday night, taking a 2-0 win against Kentucky Wesleyan.
Neither team scored until the second half.
Bobby Adkins tallied his second goal of the year just 16 seconds into the half, off of a rebound off of the KWC keeper.
Corey Nelson gave UIndy an insurance goal just past the 75-minute mark, taking a ball from
Jason Krummen and firing a shot from about 15 yards. The score was Nelson's second of the season.
UIndy held a lop-sided lead in shots on the night, taking 25 to KWC's two. The Greyhounds were awarded 13 corner kicks to the Panthers' one.
Justin Roberts picked up his first shutout of the season with the win. The UIndy keeper made one save in his 90 minutes of work.
The Greyhounds will look to hold on to their sparkling conference record Sunday, when they host Southern Indiana in a 2:30 p.m. contest at Key Stadium.
