INDIANAPOLIS- The UIndy women's soccer team dropped a Great Lakes Valley Conference match to Kentucky Wesleyan 1-0 Friday night at Key Stadium. With the loss, UIndy slips to 0-2-1 on the season, 0-1-1 in GLVC play.
The game-winner for the Panthers came in the 85th minute. Nine Henrikson tallied the score, her first and KWC's first overall goal of the season.
Shae Morris took the loss in the net for UIndy, making three saves on the night. Kaitlyn Braunig and Morgan Binder each took five shots on the night for the Greyhounds, with Binder taking three of those shots on goal.
UIndy will stay at home for its next contest, hosting Southern Indiana in a noon contest Sunday.
Notes: Prior to Friday's contest, UIndy had not lost to KWC in the teams' last 15 matchups, dating back to the first year of UIndy women's soccer, 1994.
