ASHLAND, Ohio- The Greyhound wrestling squad posted a 2-1 record and a fifth-place team finish at the Mid-Atlantic Duals, hosted by Ashland Saturday.

"I was really pleased with our effort today," Greyhound head coach Jason Warthan said. "Our guys looked like they were excited about competing. Although we were without a few key wrestlers and had to forfeit at 125, we went out there to win every dual."

UIndy posted wins over Seton Hill (34-13) and Belmont-Abbey (21-15) on the day, and lost to Gannon (28-10). Ethan Harris and Jeff Weiss each went 3-0 on the day for the Greyhounds, who move their 2010-11 dual meet record to 3-1.

"The match we lost to Gannon, we lost four one-score matches," Warthan said. "We need to be able to finish some of those late takedowns. We looked like a team today."

The Greyhounds head to Calumet-St. Joseph for a mid-week dual Tuesday night. The squad then heads to Manchester's Spartan Classic Saturday.
