NSCAA All-Midwest Region

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- A pair of UIndy women's soccer players earned All-Midwest Region honors from the NSCAA for the 2011 season.

Nicole Duncan earned a spot on the NSCAA's All-Midwest Region second team, while Lauren Soza was named to the third team.

Duncan led the Greyhounds with 25 total points on the season, on her team-high 10 goals plus five assists. The UIndy sophomore spent a good portion of the season in the national rankings with her five gamewinning goals, and also led the conference with that stat.

Soza earned on of three midfield spots on the third team. The UIndy senior tallied five goals on the season and added three assists for 13 total points on the year. Her five scores were good for second on the UIndy squad, on which she was one of five Greyhounds to start all 19 matches.
