EVANSTON, Ill.- The Greyhound wrestling squad split a pair of duals at Northwestern Sunday afternoon, with UIndy defeating Southern Illinois-Edwardsville and falling to host Northwestern.

UIndy bested SIUE 33-15. The Greyhounds got forfeits from the Cougars in the first two bouts of the dual, and took a 15-0 lead on a 10-3 win at 141 from Justin Kieffer.

Bryce Givens won his match at 157 via pin over Kyle Lowman in 6:15, with Jeff Weiss following with a 9-6 win in the 165 bout.

Aaron Stevenson won 7-0 over SIUE's Cole Brandt at 184 to put the Greyhounds up 27-9, with Evan Wooding closing out the UIndy victory with a pin of Cole Rogers in 1:29 in the heavyweight match.

The Greyhounds fell 44-3 to the host Wildcats in their second dual of the afternoon. Stevenson was the lone UIndy grappler to earn a victory in the dual, besting Robert Kellogg 7-2.

Next up for the Greyhounds is the 33rd annual Midwest Classic, which UIndy will host Dec. 18-19 in Nicoson Hall.
