FINDLAY, Ohio- The UIndy wrestling team dropped its finally dual meet of the season, 25-13, at Findlay Friday night. The loss closes out the Greyhounds' dual record at 4-5 for the year.
"We let a winnable dual get away from us tonight," UIndy head coach Jason Warthan said. "Findlay is a good team but we lost a few winnable matches we didn't take advantage a few key situation. It was a great dual though. Each match was exciting and our kids were jacked up from start to finish."
Three UIndy grapplers managed wins on the night. Ethan Harris highlighted the Greyhound effort with a pin of the Oilers' Chris Andrews in 6:59 at 133.
Senior Matt Irwin followed with a 13-3 major decision win over Jan Ulinksi at 141, and Nick Walpole closed out the UIndy winning with a 5-0 win over Jeremy Espinoza at 149.
With regular season action complete, the Greyhounds now look to the NCAA Super Regional 3. UIndy travels to Sioux Falls, S.D. for the regional Feb. 27.
