Men's tennis splits doubleheader at DePauw

GREENCASTLE, Ind. --
The University of Indianapolis men's tennis team split a doubleheader on Saturday by defeating Dubuque (Iowa), 8-1, before falling to host DePauw, 8-1, the No. 18 team in NCAA Division III.

The Greyhounds (5-3) opened the day by winning 8-of-9 matches against the Spartans by sweeping doubles and then winning at No. 2-6 singles, all in straight sets.

The Hounds came back later against the Tigers with Caleb Fellers and Pete Wilson winning 9-8 (6) at No. 2 doubles. UIndy also took a pair of matches to the third set against DePauw with Trevor Cox at No. 2 and Fellers at No. 4.

The Greyhounds remain in Indianapolis next weekend to host McKendree at 5 p.m. on Saturday and Vincennes on Sunday at 11 a.m.
